In a very Bob Dylan move, Bob Dylan hasn't even bothered acknowledging that he won one of the most prestigious awards in existence, to the point where the Swedish Academy has given up trying to even get ahold of him. And the Academy is pissed.

Academy member Per Wastberg told Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter that Dylan "is who he is," noting that no one's particularly surprised by Dylan's actions (or lack thereof)...but that it's still "impolite and arrogant":

"One can say that it is impolite and arrogant. He is who he is. We were aware that he can be difficult and that he does not like appearances when he stands alone on the stage."

Ouch. It's been 9 days since the academy announced Dylan had won the award, but they've still been unable to contact him. Though they've given up by this point, they still hope he'll reach out after the "unprecedented" snub, Wastberg said.

Yeah, good luck with that.
